Isolated thunderstorms once again today with highs in the lower 90s. Storms will be more numerous Thursday and Friday with the presence of a fairly strong trough aloft helping to hold highs in the upper half of the 80s. Summer-like conditions return for Sunday and into next week.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms today and Wednesday will become more numerous Thursday and Friday before sliding back to more typical summertime coverage into the weekend. Additional clouds and more numerous storms will hold highs in the upper half of the 80s until the weekend when highs return to the lower 90s.
With a warm, humid air mass in place, showers and storms will be scattered just about every day in the week ahead. Showers likely to become more numerous for Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the lower 90s while lows stick in the lower 70s.

For the weekend and the week ahead, it looks like a summertime weather pattern with scattered showers and thunderstorms each day as highs stay in the range of 90 to 94.
Storms will move through Alabama ahead of a cold front with a marginal risk for isolated damaging wind. By Monday we should see lower humidity with dew points dropping back into the 50s. Highs will be in the mid 80s Monday and Tuesday but climb into the lower 90s by the end of the week.
Showers and storms remain scattered for the weekend, but a cold front pushing through Alabama on Sunday promises drier weather for the week ahead. Highs will be primarily in the 80s with lows well down into the 60s. The lower humidity will feel good for the first three days of next week.

Showers possible again today, but we turn much wetter as Alberto pushes closer to the Florida Panhandle with widespread heavy rain possible across nearly all of Alabama. Our highs for Monday and Tuesday likely around 80 due to clouds and rain.
Wet, wet, and wet. Without a change in our atmosphere, the Southeast US will remain wet through the middle of the week. Alberto will add to our wetness as it remained projected to move west of Central Alabama keeping us on the wetter, more unsettled side. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s most days.
A humid air mass along with a weak disturbance aloft will keep the weather unsettled for the week ahead with showers likely every day and highs in the 80s.
Moisture will remain in place across the Southeast US in the week ahead with scattered showers possible each day mainly during the afternoon and early evening hours. Highs will be in the 80s.
