Another stormy day for Alabama and the Southeast US with a risk for severe storms, but clouds and numerous storms are expected to hold highs in the 80s. The weather will be less severe Sunday and into the first half of next week, but storms remain a daily occurrence.
Numerous storms forecast once again today, Monday, and Tuesday, but a change to northwesterly flow by Wednesday could spell a break in the number and coverage of storms Wednesday and Thursday. Highs remain mainly in the lower 90s.

Thanks to daily heating and a weak upper low moving along the Gulf Coast, the weather remains unsettled today and Monday with highs around the 90-degree mark. Look for a dip in storm numbers and coverage on Tuesday, but a second weak upper low brings more unsettled weather to the Southeast US Wednesday through the next weekend.
A weak upper level disturbance moving westward along the Gulf Coast will improve rain chances over the weekend and into Monday. Highs will remain in the range of 88 to 92 across Central Alabama.

The weather for Central Alabama is looking wet through Saturday. Storms won’t be continuous, but they will come in waves with good breaks between waves. Friday could be especially stormy with the standard slight risk for severe storms covering the northern half of Alabama. Highs will be in the 80s through Saturday before climbing back into the lower 90s.
