Slightly drier air aloft should limit showers and thunderstorms across the northern half of Alabama today and Monday as highs once again push into the range of 89 to 92. Looks like moisture values come up Tuesday with showers a bit more numerous.
Look for a warm and dry day today with highs around 90. Lower precipitable water values keep our chances for rain low through about mid-week when another weak front begins its approach to the Southeast US. Highs for the first half of the week in the lower 90s.

With high pressure at the surface and aloft, we expect to see highs in the lower 90s each day until Tuesday with isolated showers and storms each day. Rain chance ramp up late Wednesday into early Friday with a weak front pushing into the Southeast US.
For the weekend and the first half of the week ahead we will forecast scattered showers/storms each day as highs climb into the lower half of the 90s. Rain chances tick upward Wednesday with the best chances coming on Thursday.
We’re looking for a more summer like weather pattern to grab hold of our pattern with highs moving back into the lower half of the 90s and those daily chances for afternoon thunderstorms. Shower coverage will increase a tad over the weekend and into early next week.
With the weakening of the trough axis along the Mississippi River, our weather is settling back toward a summer-like pattern with daily rain chances. Temperatures will gradually move from the middle and upper 80s over the next two to three days into the lower 90s for Sunday and early next week.
With an anomalous upper low for this time of year situated over the Lower Mississippi River Valley, we’ll have numerous showers and thunderstorms through the end of the week with lots of clouds holding highs in the lower and middle 80s.

Clouds and moisture levels on the rise today with scattered showers possible during the afternoon with highs near 90. As an upper level trough settles into the Lower Mississippi River Valley Tuesday, we should see unsettled weather through the end of the week with highs mainly in the middle 80s.
Another dry, warm day for Central Alabama as humidity levels remain down. Moisture levels come up quickly on Monday and into early Tuesday with numerous, widespread showers and thunderstorms forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
You can expect to see a dry and warm weekend, but a somewhat anomalous pattern is forecast to develop early next week bringing numerous showers and storms and keeping high temperatures in the 80s.
