The Magic City Classic (MCC) is the largest historically Black college and university (HBCU) football rivalry game in the country. STILL DRY, STILL WARM: Birmingham reached 86 degrees yesterday, which tied the record high for October 25, last set in 1927. Temperatures return to the mid 80s today and tomorrow with a good supply of sunshine both days.

VERY WARM OCTOBER DAY: Temperatures are in the mid 80s across much of Alabama this afternoon, very close to record levels for mid to late October. The sky is mostly sunny, and tonight will be fair with a low in the 55-60 degree range.
