At 9:45 pm, a line of showers and storms along the cold front is making its way across the north and northwestern parts of the state.
At 9:41 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From 6 Miles Northwest Of Lynchburg To 6 Miles East Of Ardmore To 6 Miles West Of Tanner. Movement Of This Line Was To The East At 30 Mph. Wind Gusts Of 30 To 40 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms.
Threat for locally damaging winds and perhaps a tornado or two continues.
The latest update from the Storm Prediction Center and they have removed the Slight Risk of severe storms from all of Central Alabama and has shifted the Marginal Risk mainly for the north half of the area and the extreme eastern parts.

At 6:17 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Near Tanner, Or Near Athens, Moving Northeast At 55 Mph. Nickel Size Hail And Wind Gusts Of 40 To 50 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
At 5:46 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Near Moulton, Moving Northeast At 75 Mph. Nickel Size Hail And Wind Gusts Of 50 To 55 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
Isolated strong/locally severe thunderstorms will be possible into early evening. The duration and coverage of the threat appears too limited for watch issuance at this time.

We have a few thunderstorm cells out there across parts of the area as of 4:45 pm, with the strongest cell enting the northern parts of Lamar County and the southern parts of Marion County.
