The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
At 9:13 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Arab, moving northeast at 40 mph.
At 9:44 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Odenville to Wilsonville, moving northeast at 40 mph.
At 9:08 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Calera, moving northeast at 50 mph.
At 7:36 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over West Blocton, or 12 miles north of Centreville, moving northeast at 30 mph.
At 736 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over West Blocton, or 12 miles north of Centreville, moving northeast at 30 mph. This storm has a history of producing tornadoes.
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
The Birmingham Metro area may be impacted by the tornado in Bibb County. Parts of southern Jefferson and northern Shelby Counties will be under the gun.
At 7:44 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Woodstock, or 14 miles southwest of Bessemer, moving northeast at 30 mph.
At 6:30 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Greensboro, moving northeast at 35 mph.
At 5:56 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 10 miles north of Ashridge, or 10 miles southwest of Moulton, moving north at 45 mph.
We have a strong storm that is currently affecting the western parts of Jefferson County, especially the communities of Sylvan Springs, Rock Creek, Concord, Hueytown, Midfield, and Bessemer.
The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
